Transparency International

TI Australia is the national chapter of Transparency International (TI), the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. TI is a worldwide coalition working to end the devastating impact of corruption on men, women and children around the world. TI's mission is to create change towards a world free of corruption.

TI Australia seeks to work with relevant players from government, civil society, business and the media to promote transparency in the political process, in public administration, in procurement and in business. From time to time TI Australia joins with other chapters of the global network and other stakeholders in campaigns to urge governments to implement anti-corruption reforms.

TI Australia's Directors have extensive experience in working with the private sector in the development of comprehensive anti-bribery programs and on the development of voluntary Codes of Business Conduct more broadly to ensure transparency and integrity. In their work with individual corporations, and the sector more broadly, TI Australia is able to draw on the extensive published resources of the global movement, as well as the experience and advice of people and entities in government, academia and the private sector.

TI Australia is available to assist enterprises in the development of Codes of Business Conduct and in reviewing their draft Codes. TI Australia and members of the movement cannot publicly endorse any particular enterprise.
